“Napszámos” (“Day-labourer”) Néro Rosé 2017
One morning my grandmother sent out our day-labourer (named “Lafatyom”) to hoe in the vineyards, loaded with wine and food. She thought while he is working out there she can prepare the lunch for the family and later she follows our man. So she did it but when she reached the vineyard she almost head a stroke because Lafatyom ate all the food, drank all the wine but he did not make a stroke of hoe but he was sleeping peaceably in the coolness of the presshouse..…Eszterbauer János
Nero is a hungarian breeded variety, József Csizmazia and László Bereznai breeded it in 1965 with the combination of Eger 2 (Seyve-Villard 12375 sel.) and the Gárdonyi Géza (medoc noir x Csaba gyöngye). It is a recognized variety by the Hungarian State since 1993, but it is known in Switzerland as well. It’s wine is unique with special flavour and aromas, rich in antioxidants and favourable to health.
